You don’t have to let Emetophobia control your life

Recovery is not just about feeling less anxious, it is about starting to live your life again.

It is completely understandable that you don’t feel ready. But really, who actually feels ready to face their fears?

But, if you want to feel better, you have to take a leap and make that first step.

Think of everything you have to gain from overcoming your Emetophobia.

I have made a small worksheet to help you feel more motivated to try and work forwards recovery, even if it feels hard.

Click on the image to download a worksheet to help motivate you.

Consider how your Emetophobia effects you in various areas of your life.

This can include:

-How it makes you feel emotionally.

-How it makes you feel physically.

-How it causes you to think.

-The unhelpful ways it forces you to behave.

-The impact it causes on the things you want to do.

-The impact it has on the people in your life.

Ask yourself what your life would look like if you managed to overcome this.

Fill out the chart and see if the benefits to trying to stand up to your Emetophobia is worth it for you or not.

After you have looked at the worksheet if you feel ready to try, click the button

If you are still not ready, you might benefit from 1:1 support.
